Immediately after the Sea V. Legue 2025 male volleyball tournament closed, the women's teams will officially enter their two stages starting on August 1.
Unlike the male content, the female content of Sea V.League 2025 will only have 4 teams attending including Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia. The teams will play a circle in a round to select the championship team like the previous seasons.

This year marked the first time Sea V.League was put into the score system of the world volleyball federation. However, the Thai team has attended the Volleyball Nations League 2025, so the results of this team will not be calculated or subtracted
Therefore, winning or losing to Thailand with other teams does not affect the score on the world rankings. Only matches between the other three teams are calculated
Currently, the Thai women's volleyball team is ranked 1 in Southeast Asia, 3rd Asian and 20th in the world. This is the lowest ranking of this team for many years.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is currently ranked 27th in the world, ranked 4th in Asia and 2nd in Southeast Asia. The ranking of teachers and coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet can change after the end of Sea V.League 2025.
The distance of Thailand and Vietnam with the other two teams is quite far away. Currently, the Philippines is ranked 3 in Southeast Asia after success at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 while Indonesia is at the end of the area.
