The World Volleyball Federation has recently announced changes in calculating points on the rankings of countries including the addition of a number of tournaments to the score system.

Accordingly, the volleyball tournament of Southeast Asia, SEA V.League, will be officially included in the scoring system on the world volleyball rankings in both men and women's content.

Capital is only a friendly tournament for the 4 strongest teams in each content, this is considered a very funny news for the teams as well as volleyball fans when they can earn more points in the world rankings.

Highly likely, this tournament will be expanded the number of participating teams and is considered as the regional championship volleyball tournament. Previously, there was only one official tournament for all the balls in the region, SEA Games.

However, because the SEA Games only takes place every two years, although gathering more teams to participate in SEA V.League, they are not included in the score system. The number of teams attending the Sea V.League may have changed in the near future.

Up to the present time, Sea V.League content for Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines only while the female content has only 4 similar countries to attend.

Another Asian tournament, AVC Nations Cup, is also included in the scoring system. Earlier, this tournament was called AVC Challenge Cup. This year, AVC Nations Cup will be held in Vietnam and Bahrain.
