After many delays, the draw for the World Championship Volleyball Championship in 2022 was officially held. The Russian women's volleyball team was excluded right before the draw and instead was Coatia.
This year, the World Championship Women's Volleyball Championship in 2022 will take place in the Netherlands and Poland. There are 24 women's volleyball teams participating in this year's tournament. In the first round, the teams were divided into 4 tables each. 6 teams.
The teams will compete in a circle to take the top 4 teams to continue in the second round. The next teams of Group A and Group D will be assembled into a table in the second round, this is similar to the teams in Group B and C.
4 teams leading each table will continue in the quarterfinals. This is a new format different from the 2018 tournament when there is no round with 6 teams but will play in the form of direct form from the quarterfinals, semi -finals and finals.
