The Asian Volleyball Federation has officially announced the host of the AVC Women Nations Cup 2025 volleyball tournament, the new tournament was renamed from AVC Challenge Cup.
Accordingly, Vietnam will become the host of the AVC Nations Cup 2025 women's volleyball tournament while the AVC Nations Cup 2025 men's volleyball tournament will be held in Bahrain.
Specifically, the AVC Nations Cup 2025 women's volleyball tournament will be held in Hanoi from June 7-14. The deadline for the Federation of countries to send registration is on April 30.
This year, the AVC Nations Cup 2025 volleyball tournament was organized by the Asian Volleyball Federation and the World Volleyball Federation to select the champion to attend the Asian Championship Volleyball Championship next year.
Next, the Asian volleyball champion next year will get a ticket directly to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games in the US and the top 3 teams will win tickets to the 2027 world championship volleyball tournament.
Like the previous AVC Challenge Cup, AVC Nations Cup 2025 is only for Asian teams not to attend the Volleyball Nations League so the limited number of participating is 12 teams in each content.
The regulation will include 1 ticket for the host country, the 6 teams with the highest ranking last season and the remaining 5 capacity for teams with the highest ranking on the world volleyball rankings.
