The world volleyball rankings have made certain changes after the Volleyball Nations League 2023 finals ended. In particular, the most notable is the promotion of Japan.

With the achievement of the runner -up VNL 2023, South American volleyball team has increased by one step on the world rankings. Before the VNL season started, the United States only ranked 6th in the world and so this is considered the great success of Micah Christenson and his teammates.
Meanwhile, the new king of VNL is Poland still ranked No. 1 of the world volleyball.
Three victories in the VNL finals brought Poland 17.98 points to surpass 400 points on the rankings. This is the highest score of this team that has been given in the past 2 years.

The most notable is Japan, the Asia No. 1 Men's Volleyball team has 327.95 points on the rankings to overcome the Tokyo Olympic Games. Japan is currently ranked 5th in the world.
The historical position of Asian volleyball on the world rankings is partly due to Russia to freeze the score and unexpected success with the historic Japanese bronze medal after the victory over Italy.
Top 10 world volleyball charts also have Italy (3), Brazil (4), France (6), Argentina (7), Slovenia (8), Serbia (9) and the remaining representatives of Asia – Iran (10).
