Recruitment of female Philippine women's volleyball before the team has just dropped in Japan

While teams like Thailand, Vietnam or Indonesia are gathering in the country to prepare for the 32nd SEA Games, the Philippine women's volleyball team has come abroad to train.

The country's volleyball federation continues to spend money when bringing the women's team to Japan to train for two weeks to prepare for the regional congress with the goal of standing on the first medal podium since 2005.

Japan is also a regular place chosen by the Philippines as a training place for two teams of men and women in this country. This time, in addition to training, the Philippine volleyball team will also have friendly matches here.

Philippine women's volleyball has bad results during the training trip

The Filipino women's volleyball team had a friendly match with Victorina Club, the relegation team of the Japanese league this season after ranking last and lost in the play-off match.

However, the Philippine women's volleyball team lost quickly with a score of 1-3. Alyssa Valdez could not get good results when the opponent was completely overwhelmed and accepted the defeat quickly.

Filipino Labor Federation President Tony Boy said the team needs to improve steps and add a few other issues after today's match.

At the upcoming SEA Games 32, the Philippines team is in Group B with Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar. It is not too difficult for this team to win the ticket to continue but to compete in medals is not easy.

In the previous Congress a year ago in Vietnam, the Philippines only ranked 4 after losing to Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Losing the No. 1 star Jaja Santiago made this team more difficult for his goals.
