The Men's Volleyball Championship has just closed the group stage and found 16 names going to the knockout round. Of these 16 teams, there is no name for the Bulgaria men's volleyball team.
This volleyball team has just received the lowest record in its history when losing to the whole team that is considered to be Mexico's “road lining” through the end of the table and cannot continue.
Immediately after this bad achievement, head coach Nikolay Jeliazkov announced his resignation. This announcement was given immediately after the Bulgaria team returned home after being eliminated from the group stage in the group held in Poland.
At this year's World Championship, Bulgaria lost to 0-3 to the US and Poland before continuing to lose 2-3 to Mexico, the defeat was considered a disaster in the history of this team in all times of attending the LDT.
The Bulgarian volleyball federation said it would consider the resignation of Nikolay Jeliazkov and make a final decision. While the coach said he also thought what he would do if the resignation was not accepted.
Besides, information about the bonus of the men's volleyball championship 2022 is also published. Accordingly, the total amount of prize will be half a million euros.
In particular, 400,000 euros will be given to the top three teams, the remaining 100,000 euros will be divided equally for individual prizes.
The brightest candidates for this year's championship include the US, Poland, Brazil, France and Italy.
