The Thai Volleyball Federation and Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand have just held a press conference on the ASEAN Grand Prix 2022 volleyball tournament. Attending a press conference in addition to government and local officials also had the TV station broadcasting the tournament.
Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thai Labor Federation, said that ASEAN Grand Prix 2022 was the second time the tournament was held. It is expected to take place from September 9-11, 2022 in Nakhon Ratchasima province.
This year the tournament was held at Chartchai NT, where the 80th anniversary of its establishment. All matches will be broadcast live on the One 31 channel.
The President of the Thai Labor Federation hopes that the tournament will be successful, not affected by Covid-19 and this is also a chance to prove Thai's organization ability to international friends.
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima – Charin Thongsuk said the locality was trusted to host many international tournaments over the years.
The locality believes that the tournament will be held in accordance with the standards of the World Labor Federation. All are ready to welcome international volleyball teams that will participate in this year's tournament.
This year, ASEAN Grand Prix 2022 has the participation of the four strongest female volleyball teams in Southeast Asia including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. The teams will compete in a circle to choose the champion.
