The latest World Volleyball Ranking 2022 has recently been updated by the World Volleyball Federation on February 4, 2022. This ranking has not changed much compared to the previous time because no international tournament has been happening over the past time.
The top of the rankings is still American volleyball girls. The Games of Olympic Tokyo and Volleyball Nations League helped the United States in the star of a world volleyball village with 379 points.
Right after the US was Brazi, the loser against the US in the final of both tournaments with 366 points. Heavy failure in the Tokyo Olympic Games from the group stage caused Chinese volleyball to fall to the third with 350.
The Turkish Volleyball Volley has risen into the No. 1 European Women's Volleyball Team with the 4th place with 331 points. Although there is no significant achievement in the recent tournaments, this team is quite stable.
The remaining positions in the Top 10 include Serbia, Italy, Dominican, Russia, Japan and the Netherlands. Japan is the second Asian team to participate in the top 1 worldwide volleyball rankings.
In Asia, in addition to the two “great sisters”, there are also South Korea ranked 14th. Thailand is currently ranked 19th. Top 5 Asia also has Kazakhstan with 36th place. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team dropped to the 84th rank with 12 points.
This is a relatively low position of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team due to not participating in many international tournaments over the years, causing the team to be deducted quite a lot of points.
