The bold victory of Chinese women's volleyball team against Poland officially closed the group stage of the Volleyball Nations League 2024 with three weeks of competition. A week there are many surprises.
After today's competition, the position after the group stage of the women's volleyball teams has changed a lot. Especially the middle group when the throne appeared from the teams.
Volleyball Nations League 2024 volleyball rankings have found 7 names attending the finals: Brazil, Italy, Poland, China, Japan, Türkiye and the United States.
Despite the same 7 wins with the American women's volleyball team, the Netherlands and Canada pityed on the tournament after the group stage. The gap between the group of 9 leading teams and the remaining 7 teams is quite large.
The Brazilian women's volleyball team ended the group stage VNL 2024 with 12 wins, 34 points. Italy and Poland share the next two positions when they have 10 wins but 1 point inferior to each other.
Two 4th and 5th positions belong to Asian representatives, China and Japan. The current Turkish champion ranked sixth when there were 8 wins while the United States ranked 7th.
The last three positions belonged to France – the host of the Paris Olympic Games 2024, South Korea and Bulgaria. All three teams have two wins after 12 matches.
The Thai women's volleyball team ranked 13/16 despite the same 3 wins with other teams Dominican, Serbia and Germany. A disappointing result of this team. However, Thailand still has tickets to the final round as the home team.
The Volleyball Nations League finals will take place in Thailand from June 20.
