The Korean Volleyball Federation has just announced the end of the contract with both the coach of the male and female volleyball team after the disappointing performance at Asiad 19 has just ended in Hangzhou (China).
The Korean Football Federation said coach Im Dohun expired the contract after ASIAD 19 and did not renew after the poor achievement of this team in a series of recent tournaments.

Meanwhile, coach Cesar Hernandez Gonzalez is tasked with leading Korea to overcome the Paris Olympics next year. However, the opportunity for Korea to attend the Paris Olympic Games 2024 is almost zero.
Therefore, the two sides have decided to terminate the contract and the Korean women's volleyball will find a new coach as well as carry out more reform in the near future.
At ASIAD 19, the Korean men's volleyball team only ranked 7th. This is the first time the country's team cannot win a medal after 61 years, a historic failure.
Meanwhile, the Korean women's volleyball team is also ranked 5th. This is the second time in the history of Korean volleyball not to win the medal. ASIAD 19 is the first year that Korea does not reach the top 3 in both male and female content.
Failure in ASIAD 19 is just a water drop after a series of defeats of two Korean male and female volleyball teams. From a top team, the Korean volleyball time has dropped without braking.
The Korean Football Federation said a long -term plan for the 2032 Olympic Games has been outlined and there will be great reforms in the near future to find its position.
