Japanese volleyball received special favor in the Asian male club championship 2025

The Japan Volleyball Federation has recently announced the country to be officially hosted the Championship Volleyball Championships of the Asian Clubs 2025. This year, the tournament will be renamed to AVC Champions League.

This is a way to enhance the position of the tournament after many years of no attention and not many salty teams but with the attendance. With this change, the tournament promises to create a significant attraction.

This year, the 2025 AVC Champions League men's volleyball tournament will gather 12 teams from all over Asia, including clubs from powers like Japan, Iran or China.

Also according to the new rules, the two teams that win the final will win a ticket to attend the championship of the world clubs scheduled to be held in December 2025.

As the host country, Japan is specially added to a representative to attend outside the defending champion of the domestic tournament, Suntory Sunbirds. The second name representing the host country is Osaka Bluteon.

These are also the two strongest teams in Japan and even Asia with a series of top stars in the world. The two stars of the Japanese volleyball team, Ran Takahashi and Yuji Nishida, are also playing here.

As expected, the 2025 AVC Champions League men's volleyball tournament will take place in Osaka with the group stage and the final round will take place in Kyoto. These are all cities who have successfully organized many world -class volleyball tournaments.

With the National Championship 2024, the Border Guard Men's Volleyball team is the team that has a ticket to represent Vietnam to attend this tournament.
