Mr. Somphon Chaibangyang said: “As far as I know, Indonesia will not send a women's team to the 31st SEA Games. There are many causes including the limited budget.”

If Indonesia does not attend, the ability to organize women's volleyball in the SEA Games may be affected. Or cancel or tournament will take place with only 3 teams attending.

At the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines earlier, only 4 women's volleyball teams attended. In particular, the Indonesian women's volleyball team overcame the host to win the bronze medal of the Congress.
