The Indonesian Youth and Sports Minister Dito Ariotedjo welcomed officials of the World Volleyball Federation (FIVB) on Tuesday in the power to race to host the 2025 World Championship.
According to the information posted on the Ministry's website, Minister Ariotedjo said that he had met FIVB officials to discuss Indonesia's desire to host the 2025 World Championship Volleyball Championship.
Ariotedjo added that Indonesia is among the countries being considered by FIVB to become the host of the world's largest volleyball tournament. Both sides have exchanged around the country that the country can host the tournament.
The Minister said that he himself welcomed the positive assessment of FIVB about the potential of Van Dao in hosting the tournament. In Indonesia, volleyball is one of the most popular subjects.
Not only that, the host of the Men's Volleyball Championship will help increase international confidence with Indonesia especially in the field of sports.
The post -organization of the World Championship Volleyball Championship is the long -term plan of Indonesia in an effort to become a strong country in volleyball in Asia as well as the world.
As planned, Indonesia can host Japan. The matches are expected to take place from September 17 to October 5 with the participation of 32 countries. Among them, 16 countries will play Indonesia.
