After the dramatic finals between Thai women's volleyball team vs China, the BTC of the Asian Championship Championship 2023 announced the list of individual awards with 8 awarded titles.
The new Thai champions brought themselves 3 prizes including MVP for Chatchu-on Moksri, passed the two best for Pornpun Guedpard and the best side for Thadatdao Nuekjang.
Although only in the runner -up position, the Chinese women's volleyball team was also awarded 3 individual prizes including the best owner to Wu Mengjie, the best assistant to Yang Hanyu and the best pass to Zhou Yetong.
Former champions also have two individual prizes including the best Libero for Kojima Manami and the best owner for Yuki Nishikawa. In particular, Nishikawa's individual prize is controversial when many people think that she plays inferior to other owners.
Among the top 4 teams reaching the semi -finals, only Vietnamese women's volleyball teams do not have individual prizes while other teams have won at least 2 titles. The owner Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, despite excellent competition, still slipped these titles.
