Along with captain Yuki Ishikawa, Ran Takahashi became the mainstream of the Japanese male volleyball team – the No. 1 Asia Volleyball team at the present time.

Talking about his childhood dream, Ran shared: “When I was 12 years old, my goal was to play in the Olympic Games. I know that the Olympics is the largest tournament in 4 years. In the end, Ran did it when he was 20 years old.

In the near future, Ran will join the Japanese male volleyball to compete for the ticket to attend the Paris Olympic Games in Group B at home. Their big opponent is the US, Slovenia and Serbia.
