As one of the most famous male volleyball teams Greece but it has to wait for 16 years, Panathinaikos can win a championship for its title collection.
Panathinaikos defeated opponent PAOK with a score of 3-1 to win the Greek volleyball Super Cup. This is also the first title of the volleyball season in Greece.
The Athen team won the championship in the final held on Crete. It was also the fourth victory in the history of confrontation between these two teams.
This is the second encounter between the two teams in history. A victory relieved the thirst for the title of Panathinaikos and helped the team hope for bigger goals.
Since 2007, Panathinaikos has not won any title. A more sad achievement for one of the Greek achievements.
The hero of Panathinaikos and also won the MVP title of the tournament, Fernando Hernandez, the leading star of Cuban Men's Volleyball today. He scored up to 28 points in this match.
