Considered to be the volleyball background with the harshest competition and peach in the world, the age of Chinese volleyball athletes is often quite short. Each year there are many retired stars.
This season, the most notable name is Lin Li – former Libero No. 1 of the Chinese women's volleyball team, who won the Rio 2016 Games gold medal and the best Libero title.

Sharing with the press before the season of the league started, the former athlete of Fujian said she decided to retire. In an interview with Xinhua, Lin Li said she would become a lecturer of a college in her home town of Fujian.
The former Chinese player said she expected her new career. She was happy that her new job and can still devote her best to volleyball by training and disseminating this sport.
Lin Li shared: “This decision means that I step out of my previous safety area. Quickly, I will adjust to adapt to the change. There are many new things that I need to learn.”
Lin Li was born in 1991 in Fujian and attached to his home team until he retired. She used to be a major contribution in the golden stage of Chinese women's volleyball when winning the 2015 World Cup and winning the Rio 2016 Olympics gold medal.
The later injuries greatly affect her performance and ability. Finally, the female athlete decided to retire after many years of fighting her persistent injuries.
