Brazilian volleyball is controversial around not using challenge videos

Despite being considered as one of the top 5 national tournaments in the world for both men and women volleyball, the Brazilian league volleyball tournament does not have the Challenge video system in all matches in the season.

Accordingly, this technology may only be performed in the matches of the knockout.

Brazilian volleyball is famous for its controversy surrounding the referee's decision

In Brazil, many years ago Sada Cruzeiro Volei became the first team with this device and then transferred to the Minas Gerais Club. These are the first teams to use Challenge video.

Last season, the Brazilian Football Federation bought 2 more sets of equipment, as expected to buy 6 more sets of equipment for the tournament but this process was not implemented.

The failure to appreciate technology, money problems and human resource training using technology makes the video challenge in matches not happen.

The Brazilian Football Federation wants the teams to pay for this technology and of course, the answer is no. This issue has not yet been able to go to an end despite most volleyball tournaments in the world that have applied this technology.

In Brazil, the league of this country is famous for its heated argument in the match revolving around the decisions of the referee. It is also the harshness of the athletes that make up one of the “brands” for Brazilian volleyball.
