Asia Women's Volleyball Cup – AVC Cup 2022 will be the largest volleyball tournament of Asia with the participation of the strongest female volleyball platforms in the continent.
Accordingly, the Asian Women's Volleyball Cup 2022 will take place from August 21-29 in the Philippines, the country has just successfully organized two weeks of Volleyball Nations League 2022.
This is the 7th AVC Cup held since the tournament was born in 2008 and was held every two years, interrupted by 2020 due to the global CIVI-19 epidemic.

As the home team, the Philippines will have a representative participating in this tournament. Recently, the Philippine Premier League championship with the Valdes star will represent the host country at the AVC Cup 2022.
Asian women's volleyball trophy 2022 is divided into two groups including Group A: Philippines, South Korea, China, Iran and Vietnam. Table B: Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Taipei China and Australia.
The teams will compete in a circle one turn to select the 4 strongest teams each in the quarterfinals. NTLPSPORTS Arena with a capacity of 10,000 seats will be the venue for the matches of the Asian Women's Volleyball Cup 2022.
This year was also the last year AVC Cup was held before it officially given up for another tournament with the more suitable version for VNL 2023.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is training in Thailand to prepare for the tournament. Captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will meet later when she is practicing with PFU Blue Cats.
