After officially becoming the host of the 2025 World Championship, the Philippines continued to succeed in hosting the FIVB Challenger Cup 2024 volleyball tournament.
Accordingly, the FIVB Challenger Cup 2024 women's volleyball tournament will be held in Malina from 4-7 July. The competition format of this tournament is still the same as last season.
FIVB Challenger Cup 2024 is the arena to choose the champion team to win tickets to play Volleyball Nations League 2025. Currently, almost all continents have chosen their representatives.
The Philippines as the landlord will have a capacity to attend this tournament. The Philippines tickets will not be related to the AVC Challenge Cup 2024 tournament that Vietnamese women's volleyball team is about to attend.
In addition to the ticket for the host and Asian region, the other representatives including the African champion, Kenya, Argentina of South America and two representatives of Europe will attend.
This year is also the last year of the competition, opening the great reforms of Volleyball Nations League 2025 to promote volleyball to more places in the world.
Next year, Volleyball Nations League 2025 will have 18 teams attending including the FIVB Challenger Cup 2024 champion and high -ranking teams on the FIVB rankings but have not yet qualified.
Vietnamese women's volleyball team is preparing to attend AVC Challenge Cup 2024 to compete for the ticket to the world arena. Last year, teachers and coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet did this but was eliminated in the quarterfinals against the French host.
