Along with the list of women's teams participating in the 2025 World Championship volleyball tournament, the list of men's teams participating in the largest tournament on the planet is also officially announced.
The World Volleyball Federation has announced the list of 32 teams to attend the World Championship. This is also the tournament to witness the number of team competitions when from 24 teams last season to 32 teams this season.
This year, the 2025 World Championship Volleyball Championship was held in the Philippines. This is the first time this Southeast Asian country has the right to host the tournament.
As the host, the Philippines became the name with the attendance even though it was only 64th in the world volleyball rankings. In addition, the reigning Italian champion is also the default team to have a ticket to attend.
There will be 3 teams with the highest ranking at the championship each continent to attend. Asia consists of Japan, Iran and Qatar. Europe includes Poland, Slovenia and France. Africa includes Egypt, Algeria and Libya. North America consists of USA, Canada and Cuba. South America includes Argentina, Brazil and Colombia.
The last 15 capacity are the highest rankings on the world volleyball rankings without tickets to 30 /// August. These capacity include: Germany, Serbia, Netherlands, Ukraine, Belgium, Turkey, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Portugal, Finland, Tunisia, China, Romania, Chile and South Korea.
The World Championship for Men is expected to be held in the Philippines from 12 to 28 September 2025. The drawing ceremony for the tournament will be conducted in Manila on September 14, 2024.
