The Philippine Men's Volleyball has become the first team of Southeast Asia to win the right to attend the world championship when spending a large amount of money to host this tournament.
This team is rushing to prepare for great investment to first attend the world's largest arena. Even the Filipino Football Federation is seeking government support for the national team.
The president of the Asian Football Federation as well as the Philippines, Ramon Suzara said he had talked to government officials about the team that did not have any fixed place nor had time to stay together. Hopefully these things will be improved in the future.
To prepare for the 2025 World Championship Volleyball Championship, the Philippine Men's Volleyball team will have two training weeks in Italy. Here, they will have some friendly matches with Italian second -class teams.

In the upcoming tournament, the Philippine Volleyball team is the lowest ranking team at the tournament. This team has just had a lot of luck without any opponent from Europe or America in the group stage.
The Philippines is located in Group A with Iran – the reigning Asian runner -up, Egypt – the 11 -time team of Africa and Tunisia – Africa's good team. Compared to other groups, this is considered the most light table.
