Filipino volleyball fans have just received shocking information when the captain, the No. 1 star of the Southern team, Bryan Bagunas, will have to quit playing the whole season.
The main reason is due to the knee injury he encountered in August when playing for the Philippine male volleyball team in Sea V.League 2024.

In the latest announcement, coach Lin Feng-Ching of Win Streak Club (Taipei China) has confirmed the absence of this Philippine star but emphasized that he is still an important member of the team.
Win Streak Club signed a contract with Kao Wei-Cheng to fill the lack of Bagunas. This information that the owner could not play was shocked with the team when he was the No. 1 star here.
Bagunas has officially played for the Chinese Taipei Club since 2022 and has won two national championships in a row as well as being honored as the MVP last season.
The owner suffered a left knee injury after a dance at the final score of the match against the Indonesian volleyball team at Sea V.League 2024. He had to leave the field with a stretcher later.
However, his level of injury and return time has never been revealed. Earlier, the Filipino Men's Volleyball coach – Angiolino Frigoni refused to talk about the student's injury and said this was a private matter.
