The 2025 World Championship Volleyball Championship will be held in the latest physical form for the first time in history with the participation of 32 teams. This is the tournament with the largest number of teams ever.
It is also thanks to the increase in the number of teams that Vietnamese women's volleyball teams have the opportunity to attend this tournament. There will be a total of 64 matches held in Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phuket and Chiang Mai.
The World Championship 2025 will take place from August 22 to September 7 and it is also the first time this tournament has been held in a single year. Since its inception in 1952, the world championship volleyball tournament has always been held in even years.
Also from this year's tournament, the world championship volleyball tournament will be held every 2 years instead of 4 years as before. And also the first time the tournament has been held in Southeast Asia.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has a ticket thanks to the 4th place at the Asian Championship. Thailand participated as hosts while China and Japan were continental representatives.
