Accordingly, the Philippine Men's Volleyball team started the campaign to prepare for the world championship volleyball tournament that took place from 12-28 September 2025 at home. About 100 days left until the tournament will start.
To prepare for this playground, the Filipino Football Federation will also send a national team to attend the Volleyball Championship of the Asian Clubs (AVC Champions League 2025) like Vietnam. This is the tournament that takes place from 11-18 May.
Compared to the Vietnam Volleyball Team, the opportunity for the Philippines to continue in the inner round is very difficult when their opponents will be two very strong teams including Japanese Osaka Bluteon and Shanghai Bright of China.
Immediately after this tournament, the Philippine male volleyball team with the guidance of Angiolino Frigoni will be trained in the US from May 27 to June 3. During this time, Filipino Football Federation will search for African -American athletes to complement the national team.
An international friendly tournament with the participation of clubs from Korea, Japan and the Thai national team will be an opportunity for the Philippines to test the results of a foreign training trip.
Before participating in the World Championship, the Philippine Men's Volleyball team will attend the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the tournament for the forerunner of AVC Challenge Cup will take place in Bahrain in late June and Sea V.League 2025.
