The No. 1 owner of Vietnam Volleyball – Tran Thi Thanh Thuy joined the PFU Bluecats Club in Japan this season. However, at the team of coach Sakamoto, Thanh Thuy had to play at the left position as the assistant instead of playing the owner like at VTV Binh Dien Long An and the Vietnam National Volleyball Team.
Although not playing at the forte, Thanh Thuy has integrated very well and became the No. 1 side of the team. The name Thanh Thuy almost every week was named as one of the best athletes at the team. The role and position of Thanh Thuy at the current PFU Bluecats is the most important in the journey to reach the goal of reaching the Top 4 of V.League Division 1 Women's.
Recently, the Japanese league volleyball tournament took about a month off and instead, the teams participated in a friendly tournament called Empress's Cup. This is an annual tournament that attracts a lot of professional clubs as well as teams from universities.
At this tournament, many new athletes were on the PFU Bluecats playlist, among them called Miku Taniuchi. After the tournament on the homepage of the PFU Bluecats Club announced that he had recruited Mikuuuchi's assistant. The athlete was born in 1999, possessing a height of 1m85 as a student at Tsukuba University.
Recently, Mr. Nguyen Trinh Anh Phuc, Head of VTV Binh Dien Long An said. “We are ranked 10 countries this year because we cannot play because of the influence of Covid-19, so next year, we set the goal at least in the Top 4. Besides, we have to dispute the medal at the Sports Congress at the end of the year, the tournament we are the defending champion.
“Thanh Thuy will not re -sign a contract with Japan, at least the end of 2022 because the next year is a very thick and important schedule for the Western team as well as in the national team.”
Thus, in 2022, Thanh Thuy had to go to Vietnam to play for VTV Binh Dien Long An Club and training the team to prepare for the 31 SEA Games, so they could not continue to sign a contract with PFU BLBLUECATS. That is why the PFU Club quickly recruited Miku Miku Mikuuchi to fill in the position of Thanh Thuy will leave at the club after breaking up in April.
