The World Volleyball Federation is rushing to call for the national bidding to host the World Championship Volleyball Championship (FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship 2022) after Russia was deprived of the right to host last week.
Accordingly, on 7/3, the World Volleyball Federation launched the quick bidding process for the Men's Volleyball Championship 2022. The deadline to submit the bids was Monday on March 14.

All national or country feders wishes to host the world's largest volleyball tournament can apply.
After the Olympic Games, the Men's Volleyball Championship is the most prestigious tournament of the world volleyball. 24 male teams will be involved to find the champion of the tournament.
According to the new regulations, the first qualifying round with 24 teams will select 16 teams, of which the two leading teams each and the 4 third teams have the best performance will continue in the second round.
This live qualifying round will have rounds 1/16, quarterfinals, semi -finals and finals. This is an innovation to increase the attractiveness of the tournament instead of playing 3 rounds as before to choose 4 names in the semi -finals.

There will be a total of 52 matches held. Also because of the unexpected change, the possibility of many homeowners for qualifying and knockout qualifiers, the final round is also taken into account. This is a possible plan after Russia – the only host country was deprived of the right to host.
The 2018 World Championship Volleyball Championship was previously held in Italy and Bulgaria, which was the first time this tournament was held with the host countries. At the tournament that year, Poland won the championship after defeating Brazil 3-0 in the final. The third is the United States and Serbia ranked fourth.
