According to the latest draw results, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will be five in Group A China, Korea, Philippines and Iran. This is considered a softer group than the other group.

The Asian Women's Volleyball Cup – AVC Cup 2022 will take place in Quezon, Philippines from August 21-29. This is a tournament held in even years and often not interested by top teams.
In the last year of the tournament organized in 2018, China is currently the championship of the tournament as well as the most winning team with 5 times. The best achievement of the Vietnamese team is to reach the top 4 in 2012 with a good player such as Ngoc Hoa, Do Thi Minh, Bui Thi Nga, Dao Thi Huyen …
So which Asian women's volleyball trophy is?
Asian Volleyball Cup – Asian Volleyball Cup was born in 2008, is the tournament for the strongest volleyball teams in Asia and Oceania. Typically, there will be 8-10 teams participating in the results of the Asian Championship Volleyball Championship previous year.
This is a tournament held every 2 years in even years, alternating with the Asian Championship Volleyball Championship. Normally, the teams will not send the strongest squad to this tournament.

Up to now, the Asian women's volleyball trophy has been held 6 times in which the Chinese women's volleyball team has won the championship 5 times, Thailand once. Vietnam has the highest achievement of the 4th place in 2012 held in Kazakhstan.
Vietnam has hosted the tournament once in 2016 in Vinh Phuc, that year China was the champion. The nearest Asian women's volleyball trophy held at Nakhon Ratchasima of Thailand and China won the championship after surpassing Japan with a score of 3-0.
