The preparation of facilities for Thailand's 2025 world championship volleyball tournament has recently been informed to the media. Accordingly, there are problems that need urgently solved.
In August, the 2025 World Championship will be held in 4 cities of Thailand, Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai and Phuket.
The preparation progress of the host places was recently checked by the World Volleyball Federation recently and the results were shared by the President of the Thai Football Federation Somporn USibangyang.
Accordingly, basically, Bangkok and Korat cities are ready for the tournament because these are two venues that regularly organize international volleyball tournaments over the past time.
Meanwhile, in Chiang Mai and Phuket everything is not like that. Chiang Mai needs to build a new place at the International Convention Center. Currently this place is just an empty space.
BTC will need to build a yard here with a capacity of about 4,000 – 4,500 seats. All will be completely new and all the tasks are being urged to deploy.
In Phuket, there is currently a stadium with a capacity of about 4,000 seats but facilities need to be renovated. From seats, rooms for athletes to the training ground and the air conditioning system must also be done quickly.
