Immediately after the training, teachers and coach Russell Borgeaud went to the Philippines to attend the tournament. The coach said the training in Vietnam was a very good preparation step for the team in this international arena.

He said the team was very excited to participate in the first international tournaments after more than two years.

The training and friendly matches in Vietnam are a great preparation where there are teams playing in Asian style. This encourages Australian girls to adapt quickly to the match, the coach said.

The head coach of the Australian women's volleyball team also said that the team had many lessons after this trip, the most important of which is the lesson about collective play and mutual support among individuals.

He added: “We feel very lucky with the training in Vietnam. With the preparation of physical strength as well as how to adapt to the weather, Asian play style is extremely necessary. We have improved a lot after a week.”
