The Asian Women's Beach Volleyball Championship 2022 held at ROI ET of Thailand ended with the rise of the New Zealand couple, who overcame the reigning Thai championship team in the previous match.
In the final of the 2022 female beach volleyball tournament, the couple Shaunna Polley and Alice Zeimann of New Zealand had the title of championship after surpassing the two Australian rivals, Talaqua Clancy and Mariafe Artochi de Solar.

The first match, the two teams were quite equal before the New Zealand couple won the bravery at the end. The second check is even more attractive when the two flocked to the score of 28-26 and the victory once again called the couple.
Overcoming the opponent with a close score, the couple has brought the first Asian championship in the history of the national volleyball since they officially joined the Asian Beach Volleyball System in 2000.
Few people know that New Zealand used only 4th in the tournament two years ago in Phuket, Thailand. At the previous friendly tournament at ROI ET, they even only reached the 5th finish.
On the journey to this championship, the island nation defeated the reigning Asian championship Worapeechayakorn and Tarawadee of Thailand with a score of 2-0 in the quarter-final before continuing to overcome China's couple in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, Vietnam's beach volleyball couple could not continue to create shocks when stopping in the knockout round when losing to Chinese rivals.
