An unhappy news for volleyball fans when the reigning European champion Zaksa asked to withdraw from Club World Championship 2022 (Volleyball Championships World Clubs).
Accordingly, the CEV Champions League volleyball team from Poland asked to withdraw from the tournament and the Italian team Perugia was chosen to replace.
This year, the 2022 World Club Volleyball Championship will not take place in Italy as some of the previous information that will be held in Brazil. This is also said to be the reason why the European Men's volleyball team withdrew.
Perugia's chairman Gino Sirci said the team has received an invitation to attend the Club World Championship 2022, the tournament of the 6 strongest men's volleyball teams in the world.
