The Thai Football Federation is aiming to improve the level of men's volleyball team and beach volleyball team thanks to the support program from the FIVB World Volleyball Federation.
Recently, FIVB sent Mr. Park Ki-Won to Thailand to take on the role of the coach of the male volleyball team in this country with the goal of gaining better achievements in international tournaments.
Coach Park is currently president of the Asian Football Federation Committee. At the age of 72, he was a Korean national player playing in the 1972 Munich Olympics and Montreal 1976.

He used to take on the role of the head coach of the Iranian volleyball team from 2002-2005, helping this team win the 2002 Asian Gymnasium in South Korea and the bronze medal of the 2003 Asian Championship in China.
From 2011-2014, coach Park led the Korean men's volleyball team. He helped his home team to win the Asian gold medal in 2013 when the continental championship was held in the UAE.
The legendary Thai coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai shared: “Mr. Park is one of the greatest coaches in Asia, successful in both athletes and coaches as well as clubs and national teams.
Coming to Thailand can bring good results for the country's volleyball and I believe that under the close lead of Park, the team can achieve good results in 2023. “
Last year, the Thai men's volleyball spent an unforgettable year when he was empty -handed at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam and the biggest goal of this team this year was to regain his position at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.
